Inspired by her latest album to create material for his upcoming project, Snoop has offered Amy Winehouse his place to stay to help her recover from her drug problems:
Snoop said: "I want her to know that if she needs a place to chill for a bit, my hood is her hood.”
Snoop Dogg will host the MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany November 1. Snoop told MTV News he was looking forward to hosting the event. “I've called up the homeys from east to westo west and I guarantee it’s gonna be off tha chain, ya dig.”

A church in Southside Chicago has listed 20 rappers whose lyrics offend women. Following this, they put up actual billboards around the city, telling people to "stop listening to their trash".
Snoop was in the top 7 offenders.
Faith Community of Saint Sabina church singles out Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Nelly, 50 Cent, hometown artist Twista and others as rappers who "demean women and perpetuate violence," reports Allhiphop.com. "If we are going to end the violence and the disrespect of women, we must fight every form of negativity, including the music industry," Rev. Michael Pfleger said of the campaign
Snoop will perform 3 shows in Cali next week before heading off to Europe again for a tour to promote The Blue Carpet Treatment as well as perform at Live Earth.
The line up for this year's biggest festival in South East Europe- which takes place from 12th-15th July within the falls of the 17th Century Petrovaradin Fortress - is strongly dominated by urban acts.
Snoop will appear at the event alongside Wu-Tang Clan, the Beastie Boys and MC Conrad.
Snoop is set to further his acting career with an appearance in an upcoming episode of the HBO show "Entourage" Snoop, who admits to being a big fan of the program, conceded that he used Entourage to get onto another show, "The Wire"
"That’s a great show," he explained. "I’m glad they had me do that. I love good TV. HBO is doing their thing with ’Entourage’ and ’The Wire’ and ’Sopranos.’ They called me to be a part of [’Entourage’], I used that as leverage to try and be on ’The Wire,’" he continued.
Snoop Dogg’s appearance in "Entourage" will air in July with the rap star playing himself.
