Sorry about not posting this last week when I found out, i've been a little busy but anyway, the pop-ish song "Signs" featuring Justin Timberlake and Uncle Charlie Wilson has been released last week, making a debut in the #80s in the billboard chart.

This is a potentially controversial choice of song as it deviates from traditional rap into the pop world. Snoop's reasoning was to try to get a grammy or two and that he wanted to just release a different kind of song as a one-off.

West Coast rappers the Game and Snoop Dogg appear together on the “West Coast Resurrection” March issue of XXL magazine, in celebration of the history and revival of West Coast rap.

The Long Beach-raised Snoop Dogg and Compton-bred Game are often credited with bringing the West Coast back to recognition in hip-hop recently.

On the cover of the commemorative issue, Game sports his trademark red hoodie (the colour of the Bloods gang) and Snoop dons baby blue (the Crips colour).

The Snoop concert will take place in the late afternoon, immediately following Spring Back to Vail's World Pond Skimming Championships at the base of Vail Mountain. There will be a minimal ticket cost for the concert, which will be announced, along with opening acts, in the near future.

In addition to the Snoop concert, the Spring Back to Vail festival includes an eclectic and energetic mix of entertainment for all ages. Other highlights of the Spring Back to Vail Festival include the Warren Miller Experience on April 9 and the World Pond Skimming Championships on April 16. Rapper Snoop Dogg paid $5,700 for Indian take-out to be flown to his London after-show party via private helicopter.

The rap star ordered the food from The Four Pillars Indian restaurant in Buckinghamshire, England for his Friday night gig at London's Hammersmith Carling Apollo.

The eatery's manager, Jamal Uddin, said it was a big task for them.

"He is willing to pay a lot of money and he said cost was not an issue," Uddin said.

Snoop stormed off stage in Nottingham after an over-zealous fan pelted him with a bottle on Saturday night - and his security went all-out to find the culprit.

Our stage-side spy in the city's Arena venue reveals: "Snoop's gig was a sell-out and his performance was going down a storm... The crowd was really psyched up and a couple of fans thought it would be funny to chuck plastic bottles."

Our mole continues: "Snoop was just getting into his track, What's My Name? and the place was going mental. Suddenly the music stopped and Snoop was looking really angry and freaked out."

Snoop had been hit on the side of the face and was less than impressed with the crowd's behaviour. "The band stopped and Snoop stormed off as he shouted: 'That's the end of the show,' into his mic.

"The crowd were really disappointed and annoyed that some idiots had ruined what should have been the highlight of the show. He did over-react, though. it was only a bit of plastic."

"His guys are huge and they just dived into the crowd to try and find the person who'd thrown the bottle - but they had no luck... "The whole Arena was chanting Snoop's name to try and get him back on stage but he was really p*****d off and refused to go back on."

A spokesman for Snoop said last night: "Snoop was hit on the side of the face with a bottle during the last track so he told the crowd the show was over...He was upset that this person had spoiled the show for everyone else."

SNOOP DOGG has confessed he started paying the woman who has accused him of drugging and raping her - on his attorney's advice.

Make-up artist KYLIE BELL brought the charges against the rap star last month (JAN05), claiming he had joined members of his entourage when they raped her backstage at chat show JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE in January 2003.
Snoop, real name CALVIN BROADUS, is countersuing Bell for extortion, insisting he told her to take her rape claims to the police when she came to him and revealed members of his entourage drugged and raped her. He insists he's innocent.

He says, "I never wanted to give her anything in the beginning but my attorneys advised me to pay her this certain amount of money.

"Then, after a while, you know what, I'm not gonna pay nobody no $100,000 cheque for me to clear my name of rape.

"In my heart I don't know if something happened to that girl that night because any woman that I know that has been raped their first mindstate is, 'I need to find the guy that raped me, get them off the streets.'

"They don't automatically say, 'I need to get some money for this.'"

Bell's legal team insists Snoop's confession he made the payments in a TV interview could be his downfall in the case. A spokesman says, "Innocent people don't make payments. His admission that he was doing so is very damaging."

On (Saturday 12th February) Snoop Dogg was allegedly hit by a bottle whilst performing on stage in Nottingham. After wowing crowds Friday in London, coming on stage with a live band and Pharrell, the Dogg-father has definitely delivered an amazing live show to back up his amazing studio album Rhythm & Gangsta: The Masterpiece.

But some idiot in the Nottingham crowd threw a missile, believed to be a bottle, during the last track of Snoop’s set. Snoop was hit in the face, and stormed off the stage. He is not thought to be in a serious condition at the time of going to press.

Snoop Dogg, who was also in town for the BRIT Awards, reportedly kept it real, insisting his driver take him to McDonald's. The rapper certainly enjoys the finer things in life -- good dope, beautiful women and top-shelf booze -- but doesn't go for that fancy food and was apparently fiending for a Big Mac.
